A group of 8 club members went to the Rockies in September and did a 6-day backpack on the Rockwall trail. It is one of the most scenic backpacks in the area. The trail is 54.4 km in length, reaching a maximum elevation of 7720 feet a Numa Pass. The group hiked betwen 7.5 and 14.5 km per day.
We walked 10.5 km today to Floe Lake. It was 29 degrees C and the steady climb was tiring.
There are a few sites that have a great view of the lake, but most camp spots are tucked away from the lake in the trees.
