In August 2006 five club members backpacked into Radium Lake and then went on to the saddle between Mt. MacDonald (7300') and Mt. Webb to camp. Both peaks were summitted and everyone enjoyed a pleasant setting to camp. From the saddle, it is under and hour to summit of Mt. Webb and 1.5 hours to Mt. MacDonald.
The hike to Radium Lake is 6 km with an elevation gain of 945m (3100').
Great views of both Radium and Chilliwack Lakes can be seen - just a reminder that the trailhead has been changed to Chilliwack Lake.
